What is Texasflips?
The Filipino Students Association, also known as Texasflips, is celebrating its 20th year at the University of Texas. Throughout these years, FSA has been known around campus for doing a diverse range of events. From Filipino Cultural Night held every fall, to Tri-ball, a charity 3-on-3 basketball tournament held every spring, FSA is one of the most active student organizations on campus. Members can look forward to attending different socials, such as halo-halo mixers and boat parties, playing Intramural sports, and performing at talent shows such as the Omega Phi Gamma's Unity Talent Show and Texas Revue. Texasflips also are one half of the original participating schools at the Goodphil Games, a yearly competition between Filipino Student Associations around Texas. All these events and more make FSA a great organization to join.

Filipino Cultural Night is coming next Saturday, November 8th at the Texas Union Ballroom. Come enjoy a night of free food, free fun, free friends and family, and of course Filipino culture! Did I mention that everything is free. Including the t-shirt.

5th Annual Tri-ball Charity Basketball Tournament

The Tri-Ball 3-on-3 Charity Basketball Tournament serves to bring members of the University communities together for a weekend of recreation, relaxation, and some healthy competition. Held on the University of Texas at Austin campus, the tournament is open to any and all students, faculty and staff.
All proceeds will go to benefit Eastside Community Connection. Eastside Community Connection offers emergency food assistance and free educational classes in a variety of subjects to low-income residents of East Austin.

Players
- Sign up your teams of 4 (3 players + 1 sub) by April 14,2008 by filling out the application and giving it to an FSA officer at tables in front of Gregory and turning in entry fee.
-Entry fee of $40 per team includes free t-shirt and free entrance to the Tri-ball Pre Party at Karma Lounge (more info to follow)
